Dr. P.J Thomas Palackavayail Scholarship worth Rs. One Lakh for Science Degree Students

Dr. P.J. Thomas Palackavayalil, an Alumnus of this college has signed an MoU with his Alma Mater to provide Rs. One Lakh Scholarship for four meritorious Students of B.Sc. classes every year till 2013, to be renewed in another MoU.

Dr. P.J. Thomas was a Scientist at Harvard University , St. Louis University , University of Miami and Southwest Research Institute in USA . Subsequently, he was Divisional Manager with M/s Hindustan Lever Ltd. for ten years and has undergone advanced management training at Ashridge Management College , UK . He is a widely recognized scientist, listed in “Who’s Who in the World”, Marquiz Publications, Chicago-USA, and holder of several patents. He is an elected member of the New York Academy of Sciences, the American Chemical Society and the Society of Biological Chemists.

The College thanks Dr. P.J. Thomas for this kind gesture and generosity, which, according to him was inspired by his ardent wish to see the students of St. Thomas College, his Alma Mater to come up to international reputed positions in academic achievements.
